The first teaser trailer for the upcoming remake of Tomas Alfredson’s Swedish vampire drama, “Let the Right One In” has just leaked on a youtube. The footage shows a remarkably faithful translation of the original film (shot-for-shot in some cases), perfectly capturing the bleakness of Alfredson’s vision. Also, Empire debuted the first official teaser poster for this movie.

"Let Me In" tells the story in which “Kick-Ass” star Chloe Moretz is playing Abby, the vampire who moves to a small town in New Mexico with her (supposed) father Richard Jenkins. She’s quickly befriended by lonely neighbor Owen and the two begin a complicated relationship as they deal with the fact that Abby needs blood to survive.

Brad Pitt in "Riptide"?

Brad Pitt has been offered the role in "Riptide" Summit Entertainment's new "whodunnit" mystery movie set on high seas. The talks are in early stages, and there’s still no guarantee that Pitt will accept the role, but if the deal is sealed, he will possibly play a role of an investigator, while Shia LaBeouf could take another lead role of a young broker.

According to Pajiba the film follows a handyman, the young broker and the stock broker's girlfriend who board on a ship called the Nautica. One of the men is found dead floating in the sea and the girlfriend is found at a nearby hotel. Thus, the investigator is called in to figure out what happened and why.

The director Marc Webb (whose most popular movie was a delightful comedy “(500) Days of Summer”) said of Garfield:” Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity. You will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.” According to Deadline the new star of the franchise, is banking $500,000 for the role of Peter Parker in the first film of the rebooted series.
