The first images from Cronenberg’s “A Dangerous Method”
David Cronenberg’s new movie is called “A Dangerous Method” and it stars Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender as the legendary duo of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. The movie is based on Christopher Hampton’s famous play “The Talking Cure”. David Cronenberg began shooting in May, and should be wrapping up sometime later this month, or early in August, in places like Vienna, Zurich and Munich. Also in the film is Keira Knightley as Sabina, who eventually became a lover of Jung’s. Photos have just been released from the set, showing both Mortensen and Fassbender in costumes.

Here's the official synopsis: On the eve of WWI, Zurich and Vienna are the setting for a dark tale of sexual and intellectual discovery. Drawn from true-life events, the film takes a glimpse into the turbulent relationships between fledgling psychiatrist Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender), his mentor Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen), and Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley), the troubled but beautiful young woman who comes between them.

New problems for MGM

New problems for MGM
Although Daniel Craig was eager to return as James Bond and Sam Mendes was on board to direct, it appears that all development on the next James Bond movie is cancelled. This means that it could be years before the secret agent with a license to kill is back on the big screen. In a statement to The UK Daily Mirror, production company EON substantiated this story: "We do not know when development will resume and cannot comment further at this stage.”

It seems that studio is in big financial problems with $3.7 billion in debt, but they are trying to proceed with “The Hobbit”, which is still underway. It is now obvious that the development of this movie has problems of its own.
