Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in Kwadwo Asamoah
Kwadwo Asamoah has been linked with Arsenal long before his performances in South Africa, and he said in May that he would be keen to move to the Gunners if they made a firm offer, but now The Gunners are competing for his signature with Manchester City.

His agent Claudio Vagheggi said: “There is interest from a number of clubs. A move to the Premier League is a possibility for the player. But, he [Kwadwo Asamoah] has four years left on his contract with Udinese. There are two or three clubs from the Premier League interested in Asamoah. Manchester City and Arsenal are the two most important clubs. He is happy to play in the Premier League and I think he would do very well there."

Govou moves to Panathinaikos

Govou moves to Panathinaikos
The France international Sydney Govou has signed a two-year deal with the Athenian giants worth a reported €1.2 million per season and he will join his compatriot Djibril Cisse. Although rumoured to join Olympiacos, Panathinaikos ability to sign the Frenchman is reportedly heavily reliant on Govou's friendship with Cisse. The pair has played together at club level, and they have been close friends during their time with the French National Team.

"I had a remarkable welcome from the fans at the airport when I came and I want to thank them. I promise to give my best for the team and to bring only joy to the fans," said Govou. "During the World Cup I had a long talk with Cisse and he told me that Panathinaikos was a great club. I also found out about the team on my own. The fact that Panathinaikos will play in the Champions League this season also helped me decide to join the club," Govou said.

After good performances in World Cup 2010, Ghana`s attacking midfielder could be a star of the possible summer transfer to Lazio.
