Claudio Lotito wants to sign Portsmouth`s Kevin-Prince Boateng and Eder
After good performances in World Cup 2010, Ghana`s attacking midfielder could be a star of the possible summer transfer to Lazio. Boateng wants €1.7m for season plus bonuses, and that could be a stumbling block for Lazio chief executives, who want to cut the budget for the next season. Boateng is a former player of Hertha, Totenham Hotspur and Portsmouth, but he also played 10 games on loan for Borusia Dortmund in the season 2009.

The sources from Corriere dello Sport claim that Lazio is also interested in bolstering their attacking options with the Brazilian striker Eder from Empoli. The Italian newspaper states that the move for ₤7 million rated player is imminent.

Altough Roberto Mancini seems to be highly interested in signing the Serbian left-back Aleksandar Kolarov Lazio`s president denies that any kind of agreement. He is ready to negotiate his leave, but only if the right price comes along. In the statement for ESPN Soccernet he says: "Kolarov is not a free agent, and if it was down to me, I would not sell him. But if he wants to leave, he needs to bring an offer from a team that grants a fair economic solution. Those that claim that I am asking €50 million for the player are mistaken, I am ready to discuss a solution that takes into account the wishes of everyone involved. Kolarov is a good man and we have no intention to block his career growth but we have to bear in mind the needs of everyone involved. I am available to look at offers."
